What makes a working work?

• Accordance: Do your actions resemble, mirror, act out, etc. your desired results?
• Effort: Do they require time, effort, risk, or inconvenience?
• Spook Factor: Do they feel magical?

That's it. That's how magic works, as far as I'm concerned. If you have those three, you have a successful working.
